About the WCPA

The WCPA was founded in 1995 as a way for Wayland families with young children to connect with each other and build a sense of a community.  Today, the WCPA consists of a large board of volunteers that is organized into several committees--from planning various events, to marketing, communication, volunteer outreach, and sponsorship.

Over the years the WCPA has grown and evolved into a very active group of young families--with upwards of 300 member families.  We are 100% run by volunteers, and we continue to be guided by our mission to build community within our town--and have fun doing it!

A huge part of the ongoing success of the WCPA is due to the participation of our active membership.  Thank you for joining and for helping to make the WCPA this incredible community resource for young families in Wayland!
