Have baskets of pristine stuffed animals (with or without tags) sitting around that your child never really used? Consider donating them to Project Smile, who gives them to police and firefighters to comfort children in emergency situations.
You can donate two ways: Join us for a fun teddy bear story time and tea at the Wayland library, where your child can bring one 'like new' stuffed animal to donate to Project Smile.
Can't make it or have more to donate? There will be a bin next to the Raytheon room at the library all of April to collect stuffed animald, books, games, and small toys.
