If there ever was a year to slow down and learn a new craft, it’s 2020! The WCPA is excited to partner with Sip & Script, a company formed by local artists (and moms!) teaching modern calligraphy with a fun and laid-back approach. Join us via Zoom on Thursday, November 19th from 8-9pm for 45 minutes of beginner calligraphy instruction followed by free time to socialize. Sip & Script will lead us through a custom holiday word guide, enabling you to create your own fun holiday cards and gift tags and pretty much win Christmas (and Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and definitely your mother-in-law’s birthday).
Participants will receive a beginner calligraphy kit, which includes everything needed to learn calligraphy and to follow along in class, and a bottle of wine to enjoy while you practice your new craft! The WCPA will drop everything at your house prior to the event. The cost is $20 and is open to WCPA members only.
