Please join the Wayland Children and Parents Association and The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm for an evening of cocktails and conversation around essential legal planning to protect the people you love the most- your kids. During this VIRTUAL event, mixologist Meredith Powell will walk us through the creation of a seasonal cocktail (supplies provided!) Then, attorney David Feakes of The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm will discuss:

• How to create an airtight plan to be sure your minor children never spend even one moment being cared for by strangers if something unexpected happens to you.
• The three essential health care documents you need & what can happen if you don’t have them.
• How to avoid a long, expensive probate court process, and make sure your hard-earned money is immediately and privately available to your chosen guardians and family members.
• How to leave behind more than just your money and how to pass on your "story" and share your intellectual, spiritual, and emotional assets - everything you would want your family to know if you weren’t here to tell them.
